As mentioned earlier, based on secondary research, the average age of mass shooters from a set of data was determined to be around 34, and hence, we had recommended an age restriction of around 25.
At least, as per the picture below, we could have limited the extent of these events with 5 out of 12 individuals presented here happened to be 25 or lesser.
Whether this restriction would help in the future. It is difficult to say considering the factors such as , disillusionment, availability of guns, and mental framework of individuals involved is difficult to predict, but there is certainly a strong association between firearm ownership and firearm related shootings.
As with the recent Parkland shooting, the common elements that we had mentioned before seems to be relevant for this case as well:
1. Disillusionment due to sudden loss of mother
2. Lost father when young
3. Not much reliable support network
4. Access to too much guns
5. Biological family environment during early growth phase questionable
